Unlike traditional gel-chem or polymer muds, it is common to see Cutter-D, diesel & oil based mud systems or foam on drilling locations, tank-farms, or remote stripping sites.  

It is now standard practice to see briefing areas with alarms to indicate H2S gas and wheeled fire extinguishers.
