The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) team is dedicated to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, while ensuring that we fulfill our obligations to protect our customers, the public and the environment. The Peak Certification Program is used to provide a comprehensive training environment to fulfill our HSE objectives and achieve overall operational excellence. We provide a blended approach to learning that leverages technology and procedures in many unique ways:

 

Customized Operational & Safety Quick Reference Guides are developed for each product line, working closely with operational staff. Our on-line database and practical format make them easy to follow and customize for each group.

  

On-Line Web Based Training is developed to introduce our procedures and prepare our workers for their hands-on training.

  

On-The-Job, Hands-On Training is used to build the job skills necessary to work safely and achieve overall operational excellence.

  

Field Sign-Off is used to certify the competence of our workers by observing and verifying skills. All of the employee training and sign-offs are tracked as part of the overall certification program for our employees in our on-line Learning System.
