The variable speed systems (main drive, back drive and feed pump) of Peak Pinnacle HH5500 centrifuges are designed to accommodate all types of drilling fluids. The 60 HP main drive and 20 HP back drive motors can process unweighted fluids, that allow for removal of ultra fine particle sizes to 5 microns.

The Pinnacle safety systems and equipment include vibration sensor and overload shutdown switches, torque sensors and over-torque systems, which minimize failures and downtime due to plugging. Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) technology regulates centrifuge feed reducing the chances of plugging. Touch screen controls feature coloured chart readouts, simplifying operation.

The Pinnacle’s full variable capabilities and 53:1 gear box, coupled with the specifically designed double HH5500 centrifuge stand make this unit optimal for barite recovery.
