Auger Tank

The Peak auger tank features a patented settling tank with sloped walls, which aids in the separation and accumulation of flocculated solids, and transverse baffles, which ensure maximum retention time for solid separation. This enables centrifuges to operate at maximum efficiency and lessens abrasion on pumps, motors and drill string.

Benefits
  • Eliminate cost of sump preparation
  • Reduce lease size
  • Eliminate the need of daily vacuum truck rental
  • Reduced chemical consumption
  • Reduced water consumption
  • Reduced solids in drilling fluid
  • Less time for sump clean up
  • Less disposal volume for drilling mud
  • Less disturbance to adjacent lands
  • No long term sump settling potentially reduces reclamation cost
  • All equipment is winter weather prepared with steam traced lines

Features
  • The system includes a settling tank having transverse baffles.
