  Christopher E. Haslam
Chairman of the Board
Chris Haslam is Chairman of the Board and prior to founding Peak in 1996, Mr. Haslam served as a Director in the Corporate Finance and Business Valuations practice of KPMG in Calgary. Before joining KPMG in 1990, Mr. Haslam spent several years in the investment and banking industries. Mr. Haslam holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is both a Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Business Valuator. He is also a former director of the Petroleum Services Association of Canada
  Curtis W. Whitteron
President and Chief Executive Officer
Curt Whitteron joined Peak as Vice President, Operations in August 1996, was subsequently promoted to Chief Executive Officer in March of 2008. Mr. Whitteron has enjoyed a career that has spanned over 29 years in various capacities throughout the oilfield services industry. Prior to Peak, Curt was with Canadian Fracmaster where he was responsible for marketing and technical sales. Prior to that, he spent most of his career in the drilling industry where he held various field and management positions for Precision Drilling Corporation and some of its predecessor companies. Mr. Whitteron also has two years of international experience where he worked with Dowell Schlumberger as a Service Engineer in the Middle East Region. Mr. Whitteron is a graduate of the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and is a Certified Engineering Technologist. Mr. Whitteron is also a Director of the Petroleum Services Association of Canada.
  Matthew J. Huber
Executive Vice President
Matt Huber started with Peak as the V.P. Finance in September 1997 and subsequently was promoted to Executive Vice President in March 2008. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Huber spent over 10 years in the oil and gas industry in a variety of positions both in the accounting and financial areas of the business. Prior to Peak, Mr. Huber was the Controller for Foremost Industries Inc., an international manufacturing and energy service company. Prior to that, Mr. Huber was the Financial Reporting Supervisor for Computalog Ltd., a Senior Auditor of Ernst & Young and a Corporate Banking Account Manager in the Energy Group with the Hong Kong Bank of Canada. Mr. Huber is a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary.
  Monty R. Balderston
Chief Financial Officer
Monty Balderston joined Peak in May 2003 and was recently promoted to Chief Financial Officer in March 2008. Mr. Balderston was the Finance and Administration Manager with International Properties Group Ltd. ("IPG"), a publicly held integrated real estate organization. As the leader of the accounting and finance group, Mr. Balderston's major responsibilities included managing the financial reporting, taxation, budgeting and forecasting functions of the organization. Prior to IPG, Mr. Balderston was a Management Consultant and Senior Associate with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, within the Management Consulting Services and Assurance and Business Advisory Services practices, respectively. Mr. Balderston is a Chartered Accountant, with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and a Finance Diploma from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
  Dale M. Kaufmann
Chief Operating Officer
Dale Kaufmann as Vice President of Operations and most recently, Chief Operation Officer brings a wealth of experience to Peak's team. Mr. Kaufmann joined Peak in May of 2003, coming to the company after a long and distinguished tenure with Precision Drilling. Beginning in 1984, with Computalog (now a Precision owned company) Mr. Kaufmann held various positions, working his way through company ranks to become the Global Asset/Fleet Manager of the Precision Drilling Corporation. Proficient in managing budgets, assets, capital expenditures, equipment design and people Mr. Kaufmann lends significant leadership to our organization. In addition to strong operational and managerial skills Mr. Kaufmann is also a licensed diesel technician. Through out his career Mr. Kaufmann has been honing his abilities; these strengths will enhance the well rounded senior management of Peak.
  John E. Hudson
Vice President Health, Safety & Environment and Risk Management
John Hudson joined Peak in August, 2000 as Manager of Health, Safety & Environment, bringing 20 years of experience dealing with a wide variety of Engineering, Safety, Environmental, Computer, Training and Risk Management issues. Prior to joining Peak, Mr. Hudson was the Manager of Environment, Health & Safety with TransAlta, where he dealt with the development and implementation of safety and training systems, including the design and integration of e-learning and computer-based safety applications. Mr. Hudson is a Professional Engineer, with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of New Brunswick.
  Dean R. Herbert
Vice President, Human Resources and Administration
Dean Herbert joined Peak as Vice President, Human Resources in October 2005. After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta , Mr. Herbert began his career in the oil and gas industry in 1980. With over twenty years of experience and having held senior positions with several production and exploration companies as well as Superior Propane and most recently Precision Energy Services (a former division of Precision Drilling Corporation), Mr. Herbert brings a wealth of knowledge to Peak Energy Services. Mr. Herbert will be responsible for the continued development, implementation and administration of policies, procedures and programs related to Human Resources. Peak is a dynamic and growing company with a need for Mr. Herbert's expertise and professionalism.
